Welcome to Crystal Earth Community, an interconnected regenerative ecosystem nestled in the Himalayan hills above Pharping, Nepal.

Here, we live, learn, grow, and co-create across a collective of spaces and souls devoted to harmony with the Earth and each other.

We are artists, farmers, educators, tailors, musicians, designers, and earth keepers—living in service to life and committed to creating a thriving, resilient community rooted in love and right relationship with the land.

A Living Community in Motion

The Crystal Earth Community began over three decades ago with a simple, powerful vision:
to live as a blessing to the Earth, in service to the sacred.

Today, we are growing a regenerative way of life, co-creating systems for nourishment, livelihood, creativity, and education. Though the journey is ongoing, our commitment is clear: to build practices that regenerate land, uplift people, and inspire harmony between humanity and nature.

Crystal Earth Organic Farm

Spanning five terraced acres at 1,692 meters above sea level, our organic farm is the living heart of the community. We grow seasonal produce, including millet, chickpeas, citrus, root vegetables, medicinal plants, and more, all free from synthetic chemicals for over two decades.

With dairy cows, chickens, and seed-saving practices, we’re working to transition from subsistence farming to a regenerative model that supports food security, biodiversity, soil health, and economic resilience.

True Passion Soulwear

Our atelier is a sanctuary of sustainable design.
We work with handwoven natural fabrics such as cotton, hemp, silk, and cashmere, sourced from master artisans across Nepal and India. Each piece is a celebration of heritage craftsmanship and mindful fashion, handcrafted with care by our in-house team of tailors, weavers, and embroidery artists.

We are proud to now include LivaEco™, an innovative eco-responsible fabric made from sustainably sourced wood pulp. LivaEco™ offers breathability, softness, and full biodegradability while supporting lower water use, forest preservation, and cleaner fashion systems. It aligns with our commitment to slow fashion that supports both people and the planet.

True Passion Soulwear also creates seasonal uniforms for the children and staff of Dolphin Magic School, merging beauty, purpose, and impact, one garment at a time.

Joy Source Resort

Tucked into the farm landscape, Joy Source Resort offers guests a slow-stay village retreat with panoramic views of Pharping and, on clear mornings, the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas—including Mount Everest.

Our cozy, artistic eco-cabins offer rest, reflection, and reconnection with nature. Meals are prepared using fresh, organic produce from our farm and surrounding local growers.

We are actively working toward converting Joy Source into a 100% sustainable eco-village, with solar energy, water recycling, and regenerative infrastructure to model resilient tourism.

True Passion Superfoods

Located in Pharping Village, True Passion Superfoods is a community shop offering fresh produce from our farm alongside organic, handmade products sourced from local farmers and artisans.

As our farm grows, this shop helps generate community income and offers a platform for neighboring villages to share their goods. In the future, we will envision a local farmers’ market and plant exchange to strengthen community resilience and food sovereignty.

Dolphin Magic School

Founded in 2006 to serve five orphaned children, Dolphin Magic School now educates over 180 students from marginalized communities across the region.

Rooted in Montessori principles, the school is supported through community effort and our partnership with the nonprofit Friends for Nepal Himalayan Development. With over 30 staff from within our village and community, the school is a vital expression of our commitment to education, equity, and empowerment.

Retreats at Joy Source

Guests are welcome year-round to experience life within our regenerative community.
Joy Source Resort offers a peaceful haven for yoga retreats, meditation groups, nature-based workshops, and sacred gatherings.

Our eco-cabins each carry their own unique charm, and our organic, home-cooked meals are prepared with love using fresh harvests from the farm. Lounge areas offer space to relax, connect, and unwind.
